The goal for this week is to have our spelling test on Friday or Saturday...

Next Unit, we're beginning the book: Morning Girl by Michael Dorris. Today, we should be finishing up our Helen Keller and Sound Unit.  With Morning Girl, we will be studying the following topics: Christopher Columbus, Bahamas, Taino Indians, environment, archaeology...and more! Looks like another fun one.

The books we'll be reading:  Encounter by Jane Yolen, Morning Girl, and Voices in the Park by Anthony Browne.
